Original Sokos Hotel Tapiola Garden Espoo

There was a mix-up with the beds as I booked a triple room with a baby cot but upon arrival I was told they had no idea about that and the room had 3 regular beds. Luckily lady from the reception was very attentive so she brought us a cot and removed the unnecessary bed to which we were grateful! She even allowed us to use the sauna even though it was past sauna hours that day. The breakfast was also more than we had hoped for so all in all, we would definitely recommend staying here.

Very nice facilities with a large lobby and bar, and nice well appointed but simple rooms. Comfy beds and nice-size bathrooms. Very much enjoyed the individual balcony on a warm summer morning..! The hotel sauna and the small indoor pool are also great, with access to an outdoor space to cool down. Friendly service. A plentiful breakfast buffet.

The hotel is located right at the Espoo Tapiola commercial centre, with lots of shops and transports (metro, buses, taxis etc.) right there. Very clean and modern facilities. The room was medium-size, well appointed, with a spanking clean bathroom. The hotel sauna was great (took a morning sauna at 9am and it was bliss!). Great Nordic style breakfast with absolutely everything you can imagine. We also ate at the restaurant one evening with a group of eight persons. Service was very friendly but slightly slow, as the place was full to the last seat. A very good stay and a perfect location for this trip.
